Yesterday Amy & Josh tied the knot at Spicers Tamarind Retreat and what an amazing day it was! I honestly couldn’t fault a thing. From the food, to the music, to the styling, to the staff – everything about Josh & Amy’s day was on point! For me, this was the first time I’d worked at Spicers Tamarind Retreat, but why there aren’t more weddings held here is beyond me! This place honestly has it all! Amy and Josh, Thank you for having me as your wedding photographer. You guys are the absolute best and I can’t wait to show you the rest of the images!!

A HAMPTONS STYLE WEDDING AT FINS AT PLANTATION HOUSE

Fins at Plantation House is one wedding venue that I’ve wanted to photograph for years. To finally get the chance to do so with Laura and Andrew by my side was next level AMAZING! Everything about Laura & Andrew’s day was absolute perfection. From the Hampton’s style AirBNB houses that they chose to get ready at to the welcome sign at the reception…not one detail was overlooked. I knew from the outset that this was one day that I would not easily forget either. My brief for the day was simple – “keep it messy and take lots of photos of our beautiful guests”. The fact that this was their priority tells you a lot about who they are and what they value the most. Quite frankly, this was one of those weddings that I wish I could have stayed until recovery for!!!

FINS AT PLANTATION HOUSE IS A HAMPTON’S STYLE HOUSE IN THE HINTERLAND WITH CLASS. IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN BOOKING A WEDDING AT FINS AT PLANTATION HOUSE THEN I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU. Anna & David’s Private Estate Wedding was off the hook amazing. I knew from the moment that they booked me however that this would be the case. With an amazing team of vendors on board, it was hard to imagine their day going any other way. From the venue location to the styling of the marquee, everything gelled. The fact that there were cosmopolitans on tap however, just made the day better! From the dinner menu to the desserts served, you couldn’t fault a thing. It’s a day I will always fondly remember and a day I’d happily repeat. Anna and David are honestly two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I wish them a lifetime of happiness and many more incredibly love-filled days like this!! [Full blog post coming soon]

Maleny Retreat is one of the most gorgeous venues on the Sunshine Coast. Not only does it have amazing views of the Hinterland, but you can do anything with this space. Sharde & Reuben chose to go all out with a Sperry Tent. The one thing I love about Sperry Tents is that it doesn’t block the views surrounding the property. Rain, hail or shine – they look amazing. On the day that Sharde & Reuben chose to say their “I-do’s” it bucketed down. Like all of my amazing couples – they just took it in their stride. There’s no reason why rain should dampen the vibe on your wedding day. I mean…when else do you get low cloud cover, mist and super dramatic skies? [Sneak Peek – Full blog post coming soon]

Sails Restaurant lends itself to some of the most amazing views of the Main Beach in Noosa. For couples getting married here it’s all about the food, the wine and the view! I absolutely loved everything about this day! From Jacey’s bouquet to her hair & makeup to her gown – everything about this wedding was on point. This was one celebration I will never ever forget.
